Can you come to a hospital room in Charlotte today?

Can you notarize for someone who is sedated or in the ICU?
Only if the signer is alert enough to understand the document and is signing willingly. By law I must confirm awareness and free will, so I cannot notarize for a patient who is unconscious or too heavily medicated to communicate.
