Notary for Online Estate Documents in Charlotte, NC
Created your will, living trust, or power of attorney online with a provider like LegalZoom, Trust & Will, or FreeWill? You still need the signing done correctly in person. I come to you for the proper signing and notarization your documents require — at your home, office, or a care facility.
This service is for completed online documents
This page is specifically for people who have already finished their estate documents through an online estate-planning service and simply need the proper in-person signing and notarization. I do not prepare, draft, or review estate documents, and I cannot give legal advice — your online provider or attorney handles that. What I provide is the final, in-person step: verifying identification, coordinating witnesses, and applying the notarial certificate so your documents are valid.
Documents I commonly notarize
Please arrange your own witnesses
Many online wills and trusts require two impartial adult witnesses who are not named in the document, in addition to the notary. Please note that I do not provide witnesses — you'll need to have your own two witnesses present at the appointment. A neighbor, coworker, or friend who isn't a beneficiary usually works well.
Witnesses generally cannot be beneficiaries or people named in the document. When in doubt, confirm your document's witness requirements with your online provider or attorney before we meet, so the signing isn't delayed.

Frequently asked questions
I made my will or trust online — can you notarize it?
Yes. If you have already completed and printed your documents from an online estate-planning provider such as LegalZoom, Trust & Will, or FreeWill, I handle the in-person step: verifying your ID, witnessing your signature, and applying the notarial certificate your documents require. I come to your home, office, or care facility across the Charlotte area.
Do my online estate documents need witnesses too?
Often, yes. In North Carolina a last will and testament generally requires two competent adult witnesses who are not named in the document, in addition to the notary for the self-proving affidavit. Please note that I do not provide witnesses — you will need to arrange your own two impartial adult witnesses and have them present at the appointment. Choose people who are not beneficiaries or named in the document, and confirm the exact requirement with your online provider or attorney if you are unsure.
Can you tell me which documents to sign or how to fill them out?
No. As a Notary Public I am legally prohibited from giving legal advice or explaining the effect of your documents. That guidance has to come from your online provider or an attorney. My role is strictly the proper identification, witnessing, and notarization of documents you have already prepared.
How fast can you come out?
Same-day appointments are frequently available. Standard hours are Monday - Saturday: 9:00am - 7:00pm, with after-hours service in the evening and 24/7 availability for hospital and nursing-home signings. Call or text 980-505-8050 for the quickest response.
What do I need to have ready?
Your fully printed documents (unsigned — sign in front of the notary where the document requires it), a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID for every signer, and any witnesses you are providing. Do not sign anything that must be notarized until we are together.
